HR Admin Coordinator - TES (NP)

TELUS Employer Solutions (TES) is a leading provider of HR Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and innovative Talent Development solutions. With demonstrated experience delivering these services to the public sector, we enable customers to focus on HR strategy while we manage core HR functions. Our core business encompasses fully integrated Human Resources, Payroll & Payroll‑related services, Employee Contact Centre and Application Management Services.

Impact & Responsibilities

  • Process HR records and transactions related to employee life‑cycle events such as new hires, transfers, leaves and departures.
  • Maintain accurate electronic position and employee files.
  • Investigate questions using a variety of resources to obtain necessary data for completing transactions and to resolve Tier 1 workflow customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform audit and data activities, and assist in maintaining process documentation.

Qualifications

  • 1‑3 years’ experience in Human Resources, and at least 2 years’ experience in a corporate environment.
  • Understanding of TES Customer HR policies, procedures & collective agreements.
  • Understanding of HR processes & functions (payroll, hiring, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) & PeopleSoft.
  • Demonstrated superior customer‑service orientation, with excellence in verbal and written communication.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to diffuse conflict and emotional situations.
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and exercise good judgment, thinking logically, creatively, and acting independently.
  • Strong prioritization ability, with the capacity to adjust to changing priorities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Nice to have

  • Prior experience in corporate HR and familiarity with TES Customer HR policies, procedures & collective agreements.
