About the Opportunity

RAM Elevators & Lifts Inc. is an industry leading Edmonton based manufacturer of residential and commercial elevators and accessibility lifts. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Powder Coater.

About the Role

The Powder Coater is part of the Powder Coat team, and is responsible for finishing products manufactured in our shop to ensure the highest quality. This individual will be able to work under minimal supervision while performing efficiently in their role. Attention to detail and taking pride in one’s work are vital to the success of this role.

Responsibilities

• Prep parts for coating
• Follow all principles of powder coating application
• Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems
• Determine coating quality by performing visual inspections
• Ensure that all components are coated efficiently, and are consistent with company standards for quality and customer on-time performance
• Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures
• Properly cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Performing safe work practices
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Taking direction from the Powder Coat Lead as requested

Qualifications

• Previous experience in powder coating and/or industrial painting preferred
• Ability to lift and pull 50 lbs numerous times each day and stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $ per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
