Job Description
Our private sector client is presently looking for a Java Solution Architect. This is a hybrid position located in Toronto or Montreal.
Responsibilities :
- Using the Client Roadmap as a work plan, design and grow the elements of various initiatives (backend and front-end) and Reference Architecture to support the interoperability products
- Drive and develop the technical design elements for the Client specifications and reference implementation.
- Engage jurisdictions / solution providers through their architecture teams to identify solution needs into products
- Provide expertise and leadership in application, security, and software infrastructure architecture, strategies, and methodologies.
- Design and deliver high quality, well-tested, scalable and secure end-to-end software solutions
- Develop technical specifications and strategies using modern architecture principles, tools and methodologies.
Qualifications :
- 10 years + experience working with system architecture, solution design using development and deployment principles and practices with highly complex systems.
- 5+ years software development experience in a number of programming languages sin Java or C#.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and cloud-native solutions, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrated expertise using with front-end technologies such as browsers with a deep understanding of HTTP, and browser-based technologies (WASM, JS, HTTP, TLS, ...)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI / CD), including version control systems (e.
g., Git), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
