Lead Software Developer

Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions (BTCS), an innovator and leading provider of financial software, is seeking a senior software developer in the Vancouver Area.We are looking for an experienced senior software developer to join the NYFIX Matching development team within BTCS. NYFIX Matching is an innovative product that enables investment managers and brokers to complete their post-trade processing immediately after trade execution. It uses the FIX protocol to achieve real-time performance and is provided to clients as SaaS. This is a great opportunity to be part of a successful and growing team as a senior full stack developer.

• Responsibilities
• Participate with other product stakeholders in roadmap discussions, requirements review, and Sprint meetings. Own design, development, and unit and integration testing of new product features. Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues. Develop tools used by Deployment, Onboarding and Support teams. Provide third-level production support including occasionally outside regular business hours.
• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with Java based technologies : JEE, ActiveMQ, Spring, Hibernate
• Experience with databases : PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
• Extensive SQL experience
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Working knowledge of Linux systems
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills
• Committed, self-motivated, and fast learner
• Proactive, independent, and proven ability to work under pressure10+ years of Java programming experience
