About The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established building engineering consultancy in Calgary that is actively seeking an Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This firm is known for its collaborative culture, award‑winning project portfolio, and focus on high-performance building systems across a range of sectors including commercial, institutional, healthcare, and mixed‑use developments.

This is a fully on‑site role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with their team, contributing to technically complex projects, and mentoring junior designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design for new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects across a variety of sectors
• Develop detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD and Revit
• Perform lighting calculations, power distribution layouts, and low‑voltage system design
• Ensure designs are code‑compliant and aligned with project requirements and timelines
• Attend client meetings and site visits; act as a key technical contact throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing environment
