We are looking for an Associate, Regulatory Affairs - Packaging Compliance & EPR to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis .

This position will be based out of our Head Office in Liberty Village and will offer candidates the ability to work a hybrid model , 2-days a week in-office and 3-days a week work-from-home.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Packaging, Website, and Marketing Compliance :

  • Lead packaging creation for new product development.
  • Lead packaging creation for commercial expansion.
  • Lead packaging creation for brand enhancements.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance for all DECIEM packaging in all markets.
  • Review and manage website text for existing products (ingredient lists, directions, warnings, and marketing information).
  • Support review and implementation of enhanced website compliance (claims and other regulatory information).
  • Review internal and external marketing language (technical communications, marketing materials, and training tools).
  • Respond to customer inquiries.

Extended Producer Responsibilities :

  • Manage global extended producer responsibilities including the submission of reports and payment of fees.
  • Support sustainability initiatives.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Understanding of cosmetic, NHP, and OTC packaging requirements.
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant education in Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience is an asset.
