As our Cloud Technical Lead, you will spearhead the transformation of our desktop legacy into a cutting‑edge, AWS‑hosted microservices ecosystem, driving innovation that directly impacts how global industries connect and scale.

Location : Richmond Hill, ON, Hybrid

Travel Requirement : Key Responsibilities

Drive Cloud Modernization : Architect and execute the transition from a monolithic desktop application into scalable, AWS‑hosted microservices.
Own the API Ecosystem : Lead the evolution of our public‑facing APIs and customer web applications, ensuring top‑tier reliability and performance.
Mentor and Lead : Guide a talented remote development team, translating complex business requirements into clear technical roadmaps and actionable tasks.
Ensure Architectural Excellence : Establish high standards for documentation and design, ensuring all services are built for long‑term scalability and cross‑divisional integration.

Essential Skills & Experience

AWS Expert : 5+ years of experience building and managing cloud‑based systems on AWS.

C# Backend Pro : Deep proficiency in backend development using C# is required.

Architectural Visionary : Proven track record in microservices decomposition, API design, and distributed systems.

Clear Communicator : Natural communicator with proven talent for documenting technical plans and leading offshore engineering teams.

Bonus Points For

Experience with Geospatial, GIS, or mapping technologies.

Knowledge of Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) or Event‑Driven Architecture.

Background in API‑first product development and cross‑enterprise integrations.

Experience working with or leading international teams.
