Production Supervisor (Day. Shift)

itec group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor on a straight day shift to join our client's dynamic team.

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers.

Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive continuous improvement will contribute to the success of their operations.

Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of production workers, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
• Train new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues promptly.

Production Planning and Coordination :

• Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to address any equipment malfunctions or technical issues that may impact production.

Quality Assurance :

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high product standards and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any deviations from quality requirements and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement process improvements and corrective / preventive actions.

Safety and Compliance :

• Uphold and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness among the production team.
• Investigate accidents or incidents, document findings, and implement preventive measures to minimize risks.

Continuous Improvement :

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Analyze production data, identify trends, and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools is a plus.
