Job Title : Retail Trainee
Reports to : Boutique Manager / Director
JOB PURPOSE :
The Dior Retail Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization in our retail boutiques.
By working closely with their Boutique Manager / Director, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day operations and delivering the best in class client service per Company standards.
The role will be offered an hourly rate of $20 / hr.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with their retail team to develop initiatives to improve business results, presents plan to Management team
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and welcoming environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging customers, maintaining housekeeping standards, having solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise, when necessary
- Arranges and coordinates client appointments and events as needed
- Provide support when needed to the selling floor
- Participate in Boutique operational procedures and inventories
- Use proper telephone etiquette when answering the phone, taking messages, answering customer inquiries, and when transferring calls
- Assist in efficiently ringing on registers and accurately maintain all cash and media at the registers
- Maintain orderly appearance of register area and keep supplies stocked
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal and external groups
- Strong time management skills and prioritization
- Ability to multitask and show flexibility across priorities
- Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, with varied hours / days
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
