Job Description :

As the Controller, you will play an integral role in managing the financial health of our client's company. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with significant experience in financial management for large-scale companies.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in auditing, financial reporting, and monthly closing processes, and will be capable of leading year-end close efforts with precision.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Finance on financial strategy and planning.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports for executive management.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and vendors.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller in a company with annual revenues of $50 million or more.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards.
  • Proven experience in auditing, financial reporting, and managing month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
