Job Description :
As the Controller, you will play an integral role in managing the financial health of our client's company. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with significant experience in financial management for large-scale companies.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in auditing, financial reporting, and monthly closing processes, and will be capable of leading year-end close efforts with precision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior management to inform business decisions.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the VP of Finance on financial strategy and planning.
- Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports for executive management.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and vendors.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller in a company with annual revenues of $50 million or more.
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience in auditing, financial reporting, and managing month-end and year-end close processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
