Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment!

In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the Accounting/ Finance Department and will be working closely with the Accounting Manager. Some of the responsibilities in this role will include: Matching and batching code, processing expense reports and updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger. This role will be based out of the Vancouver, British Columbia area and will be a long-term contract opportunity!

What you get to do everyday!

- Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable

- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

- Help with internal and external audits as required

Job Requirements:

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

- Expertise in account reconciliation

- Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

- Strong attention to detail
