We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Laboratory department.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist of the lab, carries out laboratory testing procedures and related duties.

Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Days, Evenings - 07 : 00 to 15 : 51, 08 : 00 to 16 : 51, 16 : 09 to 01 : 00, 08 : 09 to 17 : 00, rotating

New Wage : As of April 1, 2024, the new wage is : $36.69 - $45.81 / hour

Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre is a 46-bed hospital with 115 residential care beds in the adjoining Peace Villa Care Home.

They have two state of the art operating rooms, ambulatory clinics including cancer care and hemodialysis, emergency and ICU, a birthing centre with single maternity rooms for labour, delivery and post-partum.

Fort St. John is located above the Peace River Valley, and has a diverse population of 21,000 (2021) and serves an area of approximately 69,000.

Qualfications

• Graduate from a recognized course in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Must possess a General Certificate.
• Must be eligible for membership with Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
