Transport Truck Mechanic/Heavy Duty Mechanic

New hire incentive : Day 1 Benefits! We are looking to add a Journeyman Transport Truck Mechanic to join our Fleet Repair and Maintenance team in Winnipeg, MB.

As part of our experienced and cohesive team, this positionis responsible to inspect and repair equipment in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

The candidate we are looking for will be comfortable working alone as well as collaboratively to repair and service various truck & trailing equipment.

What we are looking for :

• Journeyman, Red Seal Transport Truck Mechanic or an experienced Apprentice with willingness to complete
• MGI Certificate (or experience, and willingness, to obtain),
• Technician that has own tools and safety boots (see below annual allowance!),
• Safety first approach to work & commitment to continuous learning,
• Must be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time),
• Candidates must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available to our site,
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (as this position is safety sensitive it falls under Kleysen’s Controlled Substance Policy).
