This position reports to
Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
- Provide assistance to customers by telephone and e-mail as part of after-sales service.
- Carry out duties in accordance with established standards, guidelines, work processes, policies and procedures.
- Support customer service activities related to the FTIR product line.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in meeting and exceeding Service Department sales targets.
- Ability to provide customer trainingThe Customer Service Technician is based in Quebec City (Qc, Canada). However, the nature of the position may require occasional travel to both customer sites (U.
S. and International) and various ABB offices.
Qualifications for the role
- DEC in engineering physics or metallurgical engineering or other related disciplines.
- Knowledge of metallographic analysis is an asset.
- 2 years relevant customer service experience.
- Excellent knowledge of English and French (written and spoken). French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- Good communication skills, commitment to customer satisfaction, orderliness and quality.
- Ability to adapt to the cultural and local realities of the countries visited.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Perseverance, initiative, autonomy, punctuality and professionalism.
