Robert Half is recruiting now for an experienced Network Administrator with strong knowledge in network and cloud security. To be successful in this role, you are an organized individual with a can-do attitude and an excellent customer service, technical, and organizational skills and who is ardent about maintaining a stable network infrastructure and network cloud security. This role is located in Calgary, AB., but it open to hybrid remote (work from office / work from home) work permissions for eligible candidates.

Job Requirements : MUST HAVES :

• 5 + years’ experience in a similar role with proficient knowledge in network and network cloud services (Azure / AWS)
• Proficient understanding and experience with security fundamentals and best practices
• In-depth Security Monitoring experience
• Strong working knowledge of VMWARE, Windows, Active Directory and / or UNIX / Linux / Solaris
• Excellent experience with solid technical knowledge in Telecom Networks : MPLS, spanning tree, routers, layer 2 / 3 switches, WIFI, VoIP, firewalls and UTM
• Working ability with configuration automation using scripting languages
• CISM, CISSP Required
• Current Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP; Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, Fortinet NSE and / or other networking certification
• Exposure and interest in compliance and audit processes
• Excellent organizational skills while being detail detail-oriented and thorough in all work projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• An enquiring mind with the ability to think creatively and search for answers
