Job Purpose
Plays a vital role in translating complex technical information into clear and concise content for both internal and external audiences.
Job Dimensions and Business Metrics
Highest level of confidentiality and access to information which unauthorized disclosure could be expected to have a severe or catastrophic adverse effect on organizational operations, organizational assets, or individuals
Key Accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Writes and edits technical content for a variety of audiences, adapting the tone and style as needed.
- Creates technical articles, blog posts, and press releases for external communication.
- Reviews and proofreads technical documents for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style.
- Ensures that technical content complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Organizes and structures technical information effectively for ease of use.
- Uses visuals, diagrams, and multimedia elements to enhance understanding.
- Works with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback on technical content.
- Creates and maintains a range of technical documents, including user manuals, product guides, API documentation, and technical specifications.
- Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products / services and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
- Performs any other relevant task as directed by Manager Communication & PR.
Qualifications

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and / or Experience
1-3 years of experience in technical writing field preferably in oil & gas sector.
Academic background includes a minimum of a Bachelor degree.
