Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance Repentigny
Our client, a company whose business model operates through acquisition, is currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with approximately 8 years or more of experience to join its Legal Affairs Department.

This opportunity will allow you to carry out a variety of mandates in the areas of corporate law, compliance and governance.
You will also be exposed to litigation and transaction management cases.
YOUR ROLE :
More information about the functions of this job is as follows :
- Comply with legal rules and requirements in order to achieve the company's business goals and objectives;
- Ensure legislative monitoring and interpret the law in order to offer legal advice to the employer;
- Act as corporate secretary, participate in annual meetings and various committees;
- Draft policies and directives applicable by the employer;
- Supporting internal customers in environmental matters, new energies and energy news and Information Technology.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Be a member of the Barreau du Québec with a minimum of approximately 8 years or more of experience in business law (more specifically in corporate law, governance, compliance);
- Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple competing priorities as well as tight deadlines;
- Flexible and able to adapt in a highly dynamic environment;
- Be available to travel according to the needs of the employer in Eastern Canada;
- Ability to work in a team.
