Job Summary

Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Sr. TP oversees a portfolio of projects from conceptual design through implementation by collaborating with clients, vendors, and in-house personnel.

Additionally, the Sr. TPM is the catalyst to form a team of technical experts to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients while maximizing the utilization of resources and constantly improving efficiency.

This is a client-facing role that will require regular interactions with various client teams.

What you’ll do :

Collaborate with Sales and Client Success teams, including scoping and pricing new opportunities, proposal and contract development, client meetings and relationship development.

Manage up to 6 high-complexity strategic projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

Report to internal stakeholders on projects’ health and status; organize steering committee meetings to discuss program status, risks, and goals.

Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation;

and develop a transition plan to operations.

Monitor project progress continuously and generate detailed reports on measurable items, such as budget consumption, milestones and deliverables as well as forecasts.

Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.

Conduct and document business requirements gathering sessions, while ensuring alignment among all stakeholders on the final solution before implementation.

Oversee allocation of resources as needed before and during projects.

Create or monitor the creation of project artifacts and ensure their quality, including : High-level solution design, project definitions through requirements documentation Technical documentation including technical, functional specifications, release / deployment plans, rollback plans, etc.

Provide leadership for project implementation and production release activities, including impact / risk assessment, resource allocation / co-ordination, and sponsor / business communication.

Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

Identify process improvement opportunities for project implementation.

What you should have :

Excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to speak comfortably to a variety of audiences at operational and executive levels.

Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to details.

Excellent project management skills, including budget, schedule and scope control, risk management and planning.

Experience successfully managing multiple projects concurrently.

Proven ability to clearly define and document technical issues or requirements and communicate them with engineering and product teams as well as non-technical stakeholders.

Experience applying Agile, Iterative and Waterfall project management methodologies and best practices.

Experience applying technical and business subject-matter expertise to inform and / or influence projects.

Proven experience building and managing relationships across all levels with the ability to influence decisions from top-down and bottom up.

Experience with executive-level leadership communication and influencing.

Familiarity with issue-tracking systems like JIRA and project management tools like Smartsheet.

Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS

Previous experience working in a start-up or scaling environment.

Foundational knowledge of client-server applications.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business or related field, or equivalent work experience.

7+ years as a Technology Project Manager with the successful delivery of strategic, global and complex projects.

Project Management Certification is desirable.

Previous experience working in Product and / or SaaS companies.

Previous IT or Management consulting experience.

Previous experience working in healthcare and / or pharma verticals and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
