The Sprinkler Systems Designer will be responsible for designing multiple small to large projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Duties include but are not limited to, setting up and conducting hydrant flow tests with property managers, performing hydraulic calculations on new and existing sprinkler systems, complete as-built drawings, review and confirm all deliverables meet NFPA and local standards, etc.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year's sprinkler and fire alarm design experience that are NFPA approved for both new and existing buildings
- Experience with HydraCAD / AutoCAD and hydraulic calculations
- Working expertise of 3D modelling design software (e.g. Revit) a strong asset
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks
Shifts : Days, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm (Monday - Thursday), 8 : 00am - 2 : 30pm (Friday).
Compensation :
- $40,.00 - $80,.00 / year+++
