Overview

As a Commercial Field Service Apprentice Electrician with the Tesla Energy Commercial Operations Team, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Electrician on the maintenance of commercial PV, energy storage, and supercharging stations. The role involves a variety of electrical disciplines, including distribution / production power, lighting, and low voltage.

Working as a team with the Energy department, the Apprentice Electrician assists with the operations and maintenance of power distribution, transformers, lighting, and electrical equipment rated 480 VAC up to 1000 VDC, inverters, batteries, and DC strings under the guidance of a Licensed Electrician.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and troubleshoot various types of electrical components
• Use complex electrical schematics and blueprints
• Consult manuals, read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
• Perform a wide variety of job scopes (servicing electric vehicle charging stations, battery energy storage systems, and any other required tasks assigned)
• Display positive attitude and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback
