Optical Test Engineer
Create test plans and strategiesto fully understand optical interfaceproducts.
Implement these planstesting equipment performance against designrequirements.
Develop and runautomated tests exploring new methods for software verification andvalidation.
Document test progressand results assisting with issueresolution.
Maintain testingenvironments.
Enhance the testautomation framework and team processescontinually.
Take part in technicaldesign document reviews during the design and verificationprocess.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or ElectricalEngineering.
Have at least 5 years ofexperience in verifying optical transport products and automatingtests.
Possess a minimum of 4 yearsof testing experience across Layers 1 2 and3.
Exhibit a solid understanding ofgeneral packet and optical networkingprinciples.
Demonstrate proficiencyin Python programming andtroubleshooting.
Showcase excellentorganizational analytical and problemsolvingskills.
Show familiarity withOperating Systems like Linux andMicrosoft.
Have experience withsoftware version control using Git orSVN.
Be familiar with software defecttracking systems such as JIRA orBugzilla.
Have experience withoptical Ethernet / OTN test sets like EXFO Viavi andIxia.
Demonstrate the ability toquickly grasp and apply new concepts technologies andsolutions.
Possess stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectivelywith various functional groups.
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communicationskills.

- Possess aminimum of 4 years of testing experience across Layers 1, 2, and 3.- Exhibit a solid understanding of general packet and opticalnetworking principles.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Pythonprogramming and troubleshooting. - Showcase excellentorganizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Showfamiliarity with Operating Systems like Linux and Microsoft. - Haveexperience with software version control using Git or SVN.
- Befamiliar with software defect tracking systems such as JIRA orBugzilla. - Have experience with optical Ethernet / OTN test setslike EXFO, Viavi, and Ixia.
