The opportunity :

Valnet is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to execute and optimize compensation processes for freelancers across our entertainment portfolio.

The Compensation Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring fair and timely compensation for freelancers while maintaining data integrity and compliance with company policies.

What you will be doing :

Utilize business intelligence tools and analytics techniques to analyze large datasets, extract actionable insights, and generate data-driven recommendations.

Executing compensation transactions for freelancers across our entertainment portfolio ( ScreenRant, Collider, CBR, and Movieweb).

Supporting and assisting management with compensation models and frameworks for freelancers, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives.

Monitor and track freelancer contracts, invoices, and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.

Directly communicating with freelancers to assist and resolve payment issues.Collaborate with members of the portfolio’s human resource team on a daily basis.

Provide regular reports and analysis on freelancer compensation trends, costs, and performance metrics to inform decision-making processes.

What you will need to succeed :

Experience in the following field : Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Payroll.Experience with data visualization tools (Excel and Google Sheet)Familiarity with compensation principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
