Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.
We are looking for an energetic and results-oriented Leasing Representative to join our leasing team on a full-time basis in supporting our properties located in Fredericton, NB.
What you will do:
•Field leasing communication, by phone, text, email or in person;
•Perform showings and host open houses- please note: these may take place on weekends;
•Follow up with prospective tenants after showing to close the sale;
•Manage advertisements of properties;
•Processing applications, prepare lease documents and arrange lease signings.
Who you are:
•1-2 years’ experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service;
•Enjoys working with people;
•Post-secondary education is considered an asset;
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
•Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel;
•Experience with posting ads on Kijiji and working in Yardi considered an asset;
•Must have own vehicle.
