Marketing Coordinator (State & Main Kitchen and Bar)
We create and own concepts and brands to fill market niches in the food service and hospitality sectors. We are the backstage and on-stage contributors to your favorite restaurant brands including Original Joe’s, Elephant & Castle and State & Main, Anejo Restaurant & Blanco Cantina. The Franworks team grows these brands through both corporate owned and franchise models. What You’ll Do :
The Marketing Coordinator will bring their love of hospitality and their pulse on culture to a team that thrives on creating memorable guest experiences. This role is responsible for supporting national and local marketing initiatives for State & Main with a strong day-to-day focus on social media management, content creation and email marketing.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely plugged into what guests care about. Someone who understands the excitement of gathering for big moments, the trends shaping North American dining culture and the community feel that keeps people returning to their favourite spot.
The ideal candidate has experience working with North American consumer brands, excels in fast-paced environments and can handle multiple priorities while keeping the brand voice fresh, engaging and unmistakably State & Main. This role plays an important part in positioning State & Main as the go-to neighbourhood destination by building connection, driving engagement and elevating the brand across every touchpoint.

Social Media and Community Management
Plan, develop and publish social content that supports brand campaigns, promotions and everyday storytelling.Maintain an organized social content calendar and ensure timely execution across all platforms.Manage community engagement including responding to guest comments messages and questions in a timely and professional manner.Identify opportunities to join cultural moments and trending conversations that align with the brand.Support influencer outreach, communication, scheduling and content coordination to strengthen brand visibility.Monitor competitor activity and emerging social trends to keep channels fresh and relevant.Content and Email Production
Coordinate and support content creation including planning small scale shoots, sourcing assets and working with internal and external partners.Ensure content is delivered on time, formatted correctly and aligned with brand guidelines.Draft, build, test and deploy email campaigns including newsletters, promotional sends and automated flows.Maintain email lists in partnership with the CRM team ensuring segments are accurate and updated.Track email performance and provide insights on open rates, click through rates, conversions and audience behaviour.Recommend adjustments to improve content quality and email engagement.Digital Campaign Execution and Web Management
Execute national and local digital marketing campaigns based on brand direction including digital and CRM initiatives.Support digital elements of local restaurant marketing requests, as needed.Collaborate with the CRM and website Teams to ensure campaigns are properly set up, tracked and optimized.Update and maintain website content including promotions, images and restaurant specific information.Coordinate with the CRM and web teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and timely updates across all digital touchpoints.Test and quality check digital assets and web updates to ensure flawless execution.Performance Tracking and Insights
Track performance across social media, email and website channels on a monthly basis.Compile campaign recaps and performance summaries to support reporting for brand leadership.Identify trends, patterns and opportunities for optimization based on data.Share insights that inform future content, campaigns and channel strategies.Maintain digital tracking documents and monitor dashboards to support historical reference and decision making.Experience / Skills / Technical Knowledge
1-3 years in a marketing or communications role.Experience managing social media and email marketing including content planning, execution and reporting.Strong written and visual storytelling skills with creativity and resourcefulness to develop engaging content from scratch even when working with limited time, assets or direction.Proficiency with content creation and marketing tools such as Canva, Meta Suite, TikTok and CapCut.Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and working with CRM or website management systems.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.Experience in a North American consumer or hospitality brand is an asset.Education / Professional Credentials
Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).Seniority level
