Job Overview :
As a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician , you will work portal-to-portal in the field from Pittsburgh. Residence is required within a 30-minute radius of the service area.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and specialty food service equipment.
This role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, as well as occasional overtime and on-call availability for emergency repairs.

Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive service solutions for commercial kitchen equipment, partnering with restaurant and hospitality managers.
Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialty food service equipment.
Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot and read schematics and diagrams.
Communicate with manufacturers for parts identification and diagnosis assistance.
Install parts timely and in line with company policy.
Promote additional company services as needed.
Complete and submit work orders, time reports, and inventory records.
Maintain safe work practices, including vehicle upkeep, tool management, and following accident prevention procedures.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 70 lbs.
Work with moving parts, heated surfaces, liquids, and risk of electrical shock in various environments.
Work on ladders, roofs, and high places.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Willingness to participate in on-call emergency repairs, including nights and weekends.
Availability for occasional overnight travel.
