We are looking for a junior data analyst based out of our Burlington office to support our growing Deloitte Indirect Tax practice.
What will your typical day look like?
- Conversion of large datasets using ETL tools
- Data validation to ensure the integrity and quality of data using SQL queries and Alteryx workflows
- Complex data mining, analysis, manipulation, and processing
- Assistance with the development of digitalization projects using C# and VBA
- Maintenance and management of multiple large databases on multiple SQL servers.
About the team
The successful candidate will be working with the Data Analytics team within the Indirect Tax Recovery group. The primary role of the position will be to provide technical support directly to the core team as well as to the internal tax group on client engagements.
The responsibilities will include back-to-back data processing, development and support of internal applications, and basic database administration.

- Fluency in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- In depth knowledge of relational databases and data models
- Experience with VBA and C#
- Working knowledge of Alteryx
- Hands-on knowledge of ETL tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database administration
- Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently
- Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
