Position Overview :

As a Healthcare Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities that prioritize patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical excellence.

Leveraging your extensive experience in project management and healthcare architecture, you will lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project development, from initial concept to final delivery.

This role presents a unique opportunity to work on transformative healthcare projects while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Leadership : Assume primary responsibility for the successful delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgetary constraints, and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Engagement : Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare clients, understanding their needs, expectations, and strategic goals, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with internal teams, including architects, engineers, designers, and consultants, to develop integrated solutions that meet the unique challenges and requirements of healthcare environments.
  • Schedule and Budget Management : Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, monitoring progress and proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or delays.
  • Quality Assurance : Implement rigorous quality control measures, conducting regular reviews of design documentation, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Stay informed of relevant healthcare regulations, codes, and standards, and ensure that projects adhere to all applicable requirements, including HIPAA, ADA, and NFPA guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to foster collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive process improvements and innovation initiatives within the healthcare practice, leveraging your expertise to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering healthcare projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare design principles, including patient care delivery models, clinical workflows, and infection control standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, and familiarity with BIM tools like Revit.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
