Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager - Western Canada, the position holder fulfills the responsibilities linked to sales and representation of his territory.
- Is responsible of the territory growth, sales budget and business management of the designated territory consistent with corporation objectives through special presentations of current and new products on the market
- Is responsible for representing the company with various potential customers (distributors, consulting engineers, industrials, architects, installers)
- Is responsible for product training, communications with clients regarding technical matters on products, does complaint resolution and influences buying decisions of the customers
- Is responsible to present a written report to the management on the activities of the territory and provides market intelligence
- Does cold calls activities or market solicitation on a regular basis
- Responsible to provide company with feedback on field testing of new or prototype formulas
- Participates in the development of new products with the Product Managers
- Any other related tasks
You need :
- High School degree with 5 year experience in sales, customer service in a similar industry and environment or 5 to 10 year experience in the laying of floor covering (ceramics, carpets, vinyl, wood) and / or in the applying of concrete products
- Experience in installation and / or estimating / project management is a must.
- Concrete restoration knowledge and knowledge of our products
- Can do product training at a professional level
