Payer Enrollment Specialist (Onsite)
13-Week Contract
Hours 7 AM - 4 PM (32-40 hours / week)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Payer Enrollment Specialist to manage the credentialing and enrollment of physicians and allied health providers in a hospital system.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong knowledge of CAQH, and extensive experience in healthcare payer enrollment.
The position is fully onsite with no remote work option.
Key Responsibilities :
Accurately complete and review provider applications, ensuring all information is thorough and up-to-date.
Communicate with providers to collect missing application details and work with government agencies and managed care companies to resolve discrepancies.
Ensure timely submission of re-appointments and re-credentials, verifying all licenses are current, and maintaining accurate internal files.
Regularly update and maintain the CAQH database.
Collaborate closely with TCHMA Administration, Billing Department, and Office Managers for effective communication and follow-up.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the enrollment and credentialing process.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum of 5 years' experience in payer enrollment within a health system or hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of CAQH and experience with Cactus / Symplr software.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks under pressure.
Must have prior experience working in a hospital system.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Cactus / Symplr is a plus.
Requirements :
Candidate must be committed to a contract assignment and fully onsite work for 5 days a week.
Flu shot is required prior to the start date.
Experience in nursing, allied health, or agency credentialing will not be considered.
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some college education is preferred, though a degree is not required.
Work Schedule :
Shift : 7 AM - 4 PM, 32-40 hours per week.
Business casual attire required.
