The Common Cluster SolutionsBranch focuses on services that support both ministries and allbranches within the cluster. CCS also provides businessintelligence data analysis and other KPI reporting on importantareas of business operations to our partners and the cluster.

Theseservices include Business Intelligence (BI) which consists ofperformance reporting analytics and consulting services andincludes offering selfservice tools to enable and empower ourbusiness partners to make informed decisions for their daytodaybusinessoperations.

Theresource would be engaged on a number of discrete projects thathave been approved by ministry program areas as key prioritiesincluding :

• SOLGENPrivate Security & Investigation Services Branch (PSISB) todevelop Compliance Enforcement reporting Phase1
• SOLGENPrivate Security & Investigation Services Branch (PSISB) todevelop Compliance Enforcement reporting Phase2
• SOLGENAnimal Welfare Services (AWS) critical operationalreporting
• ModernizedUse of Forcereporting;
• Inventoryof Mental Health Programsreporting;
• eRosterreporting.
• Inaddition other Microsoft Power BI work is ongoing within the Branchand resources may be required to assist in other Power BIdevelopment work involved in theunit.

Skills andKnowledge :

• Provenexperience as a Microsoft Power BI developer building BusinessIntelligence reports anddashboards
• Demonstratedexperience with M DAX and PowerQuery
• Demonstratedknowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem Power BIservice Azure Data factory SQLServer
• Provenexperience with SQL Server and other databasetechnologies
• Provendemonstrable experience in data modeling and data visualization;working with different data schemas and BI implementationmethodologies
• Knowledgeof data analysis datamanagement
• Provenability to partner with internal / external stakeholders and liaisewith technical experts and nontechnicalcolleagues
• Experiencein understanding capturing and analyzing complex and sometimescompeting business requirements to develop Power BI and BusinessIntelligenceproducts
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills interpersonal andfacilitation skills
• Strongwritten presentation and interpersonal communication skills withspecial attention to correct use of tense grammar / spelling andterminology
• Demonstratedeffective time management and organizational skills including theability to plan and prioritize workload ensuring timelines are metand respond to demands of a dynamicenvironment
• MandatoryRequirements : At least 5 years ofexperience
• Allroles procured are required to be cleared through the ContractorSecurity Clearance Process of the OPS.
• SecurityClearance process levels roles etc. are subject to change withoutprior notice. Candidates may be required to undergo revised / newprocess (or levels) any time prior or during the term of thecontract.

MandatoryRequirements :

• UsePower Query to extract data from different data sources and choosea storage mode and connectivity type.
• Profileclean and load data into Power BI
• Designdata models that are intuitive highperforming and simple tomaintain
• Createcompelling Power BI report designs and report formatting includingreport navigation for all audience types (executiveoperational)
• Examinesort and present data using Power BI in a cohesivemanner
• ConnectPower BI reports to datasources
