OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (security)

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Status : Unionized, regular
- Schedule : Minimum of two shifts per week or 16 hours (weekends)
- Dates : Starting February 04, 2024
- Salary : $25.58 (Class 5)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and distribute the tasks and assignments of the security team
- Support supervisor in the management of the team : onboarding, training, performance evaluations, scheduling and attendance
- Ensure the application of policies and procedures
- Transmit the information employees need to do their jobs
- Ensure the quality of services provided by the team
- Solve problems and emergencies
- Control access via the security management system : issue cards, create access groups, etc.
KNOWLEDGE
- College diploma
- Bilingualism : Intermediate English (level 2)
- Valid AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR (level C : baby, child, adult) first aid courses
- Valid agent's license issued by the Private Security Bureau
- Computer knowledge : MS Office Suite (basic)
- Valid driver's license
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years’ experience in public, industrial or commercial security
- 18 months experience in personnel coordination
- 1 year experience in customer service
- Successful completion of management potential assessment
- Experience in a central monitoring station (an asset)
- Any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered
