Job Description
KeyResponsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and repair various types of electrical controls, drives, communications, plant power, wiring, circuits, robot paths and etc.
- Program changes to PLC, HMI & robots
- Provide technical support for robotic systems.
- Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation
- Evaluate, analyze and troubleshoot robotic systems.
- Perform all preventative maintenance requirements as scheduled
- Provide proper documentation of robotic application development and changes.
- Have mechanical aptitude that compliments electrical capabilities
- Ability to schedule time, materials and equipment required to perform tasks, and to properly use and complete required documentation
- Responsible for the calibration, operation and maintenance of robots.
- Have a professional customer service attitude and ability to communicate with all levels of associates
Ideal Requirements :
- Degree or diploma in the robotics, automation, Industrial Controls or Electronics field.
- PLC’s and robot programming experience
familiarity with Allen Bradley ideal)
- Troubleshooting and debugging experience especially in the areas of robotics, PLC’s and pneumatics.
- Experience in a welding and / or automotive manufacturing environment is ideal, but not required.
