This MRO company has ambitions to be the leading services provider in the Americas and is on the acquisition trail for MROs.

Recently it acquired operations in Canada and Uruguay.

In this role as Head of Business Development, reporting to the CEO, you will seek out further opportunities throughout the Americas and, with the assistance of the corporate finance team, will close further deals to scale up the company's reach and services offerings.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

Transaction Execution :

  • Lead negotiations and deal structuring for joint ventures and acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners to identify collaborative opportunities.
  • Drive the end-to-end process of deal execution, from initial discussions to finalising agreements.

Sales Expertise :

  • Leverage your sales background to effectively communicate and sell our services and products to airline customers.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel and personally engage with airline customers to build rapport and secure business opportunities.

Industry Experience :

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry, having worked directly for an airline.
  • Showcase experience working with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) businesses as a client or from within the MRO sector.
  • Ideally, have a background that includes transitioning from an airline to a non-airline MRO, providing a unique perspective on both sides of the business.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, and negotiations within the aviation industry.
  • Strong network within the aviation and MRO community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
