Mechanical Design Engineer

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Itec group is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a client of ours in the Golden Horseshoe.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

Design and develop concepts for mechanical machinery.

Work with customers and project managers to understand client needs and project requirements.

Troubleshooting equipment and collaborating with production to ensure proper specifications are being met.

Assist with cost estimates and concepts

Designing in 3D CAD software, Inventor

Mandatory Requirements :

Experience as a mechanical designer coming from automation / robotics / custom machinery

Strong CAD software experience

Knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, custom machinery, gearboxes, motors, and mechanical automation, among others.
