The IT Service Desk Summer Student will provide general support and administration to the Service team pertaining to : desktop hardware and software resources (stand alone and networked), including installation, configuration, security and optimizations of computer operating software, business applications, MS Office, software, network drivers, etc, for network connectivity, and maintain detailed records.
The role will support problem resolution of computer hardware, software and network connectivity problems by responding to client calls, making preliminary assessments of the problems and taking corrective action. The role is expected to participate in special assignments or projects pertaining to client / desktop hardware or software.
