Cyber Security Analyst
RolePurpose :
Thepurpose of this role is to analyse identify rectify &recommend specific improvement measures that help in the securityposture of the organization by protecting the sensitiveinformation
Do :
- Ensuringcustomer centricity by providing aptcybersecurity
- Monitoringand safeguarding the log sources and securityaccess
- Planningfor disaster recovery in the event of any securitybreaches
- Monitorfor attacks intrusions and unusual unauthorized or illegalactivity
- Performsmoderately complex log reviews and forensic analysis to identifyunauthorized or unacceptable access to data orsystems
- Conductsecurity assessments risk analysis and root cause analysis ofsecurityincidents
- Handlingincidents escalated by the L1 team in 24x7 rotationalshifts
- Useadvanced analytics tools to determine emerging threat patterns andvulnerabilities
- Completingall tactical security operations tasks associated with thisengagement.
- Analysesall the attacks and come up with remedial attackanalysis
- Conductdetailed analysis of incidents and create reports anddashboards
Stakeholdercoordination & auditassistance :
- Liaisewith stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and providefuturerecommendations
- Maintainan information security risk register and assist with internal andexternal audits relating to informationsecurity
- Assistwith the creation maintenance and delivery of cyber securityawareness training forcolleagues
- Adviceand guidance to employees on issues such as spam and unwanted ormaliciousemails
