DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Halifax, NS.
Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and identify steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
- Design and implement CI / CD Automation tools for testing, monitoring, and reporting
- Experience with Artifactory, AzureDevOps, Git
- Experience with virtualization and container orchestration
- Experience with configuration management and common automation tools
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (or another cloud platform)
- Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
Qualifications :
- Bachelor or Master degree of Computer Science or Software Engineering
- An understanding of shell scripting, and or scripting languages such as python
- An understanding of continuous integration and can speak to its benefits
- The ability to pick up a new technology and switch between tech stacks
- Prior experience in software development
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Agile software development principles would be an asset
