Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to advance their career as a Registered Nurse Emergency Department Support Full-Time.

This unique position is for Registered Nurses (RNs) looking to grow in their career and expand their knowledge in a highly supportive environment.

Join us in the Emergency Department as an RN seeking to learn more about Emergency and Critical Care. Our Client is looking for RNs interested to become Emergency Department trained;

we will support, mentor and help novice nurses build the knowledge, skills and training to work independently in the ED.

With training and ongoing support, you will begin to take on some of the skills of the experienced ED nurse.

With training and ongoing support, you will begin to take on some of the skills of the experienced ED nurse. This will help to prepare you for a placement in the fully funded training program through an accredited college.

Job Qualification

Education

Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Registration issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario.- Current in BLS.

Qualifications

• One year experience in an Emergency or acute medical care unit preferred.- Demonstrated ability to care for patients with basic care needs.
• Must be willing to participate in emergency and critical care related training.- Demonstrated motivation to pursue educational goals.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership and critical thinking skills. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to implement plan of care including independent and interdependent nursing functions.- Demonstrated ability to participate in unit quality initiatives and measurements.
• Demonstrated understanding of accountability based practice.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Good work and attendance record required.
