We are currently seeking aWetland Ecologist to join our team based out of our Edmonton orWhitecourt office. This is a fulltimepermanent position that is focused on wetland surveys regulatoryapplications and related projects.

Projectwork is remote team based safety driven and is completed for theenergy and forest sectors throughout theprovince.

PositionAccountabilities

  • Thisposition is accountable for safe and efficient projectwork;
  • Designand complete field assessments and studies related to vegetationandwetlands;
  • Summarizeevaluate and report on vegetation and wetlandsdata;
  • Preparewetlands regulatoryapplications;
  • Leadand manage project deliverables and working relationships withWoodlands peers management andclients.

PositionRequirements andQualifications

  • Knowledgeablein current best management practices and regulatory requirementsfor wetland assessments andapplications;
  • UniversityDegree or technical diploma is required in Environmental EarthScience Forestry Biology Engineering Geomatics orSurveying;
  • QualifiedWetlands Science Practitioner with professional registration in oneof Alberta s Professional RegulatoryOrganizations;
  • Abilityto demonstrate leadership quality safety and customer servicefocus.
