My client, a scale-up originally from USA disrupting the Insurance market focusing on Data and AI is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their team.
This is a permanent role and will be fully remote. You can be based anywhere in Canada. The salary on offer ranges from $175,000 to $200,000.
Sponsorship will not be offered for this position .
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, create, modify, and / or test software applications or systems for various products or software services
- Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and / or systems
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering
- Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks
- Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on industry experience in full stack engineering
- Familiarity with event backbone and job pool platforms (Kafka, etc)
- 4+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Python (Django) and have built complex backend systems
- Demonstrated ability to pick up new technologies quickly and learn on the spot
- Experience in design and code reviews
