We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our SharePoint environment, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance.
This individual will play a critical role in supporting our organization's collaboration and document management initiatives by configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting SharePoint solutions to meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and administer SharePoint servers, sites, and services, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions, workflows, and applications to support business processes and enhance collaboration.
Customize SharePoint sites and pages, including creating and configuring lists, libraries, forms, and web parts.
Monitor SharePoint usage, performance, and security, implementing best practices and policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Administer permissions, best practices and prov i d e governance recommendations.
Provide technical support and training to end-users, assisting with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user training as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and implement solutions that align with business objectives .
Stay current with SharePoint and Office 365 updates, features, and technologies, evaluating their potential impact and implementing relevant enhancements.
Required Skills
Proficiency in SharePoint development tools and technologies, including SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 services, including SharePoint Online Management Shell and PowerShell.
Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and network infrastructure concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide user support and training.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and administration.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : SharePoint Administrator Associate or similar certifications are a plus.

The targets for this role are dependent on market / geographic location and range from $ 90,000 to $ 110,000 CAD .
