Software Engineer
Location Address : Downtown Toronto (2-3 days in office)
Contract Duration : 9 months to start
Schedule Hours : 9am-5pm
Reason : Additional support required for this project
Typical Day in Role :
- Providing Front / Back end support to the team’s ongoing projects
- Effective design, development, integration, testing and implementation of complex business requirements
- Applying technological knowledge to the design of models and / or systems, formulating detailed technical designs, investigating and recommending technical solutions, developing and delivering applications using agile development methodologies
- Able to work at the highest technical level of systems development.
- Supporting a number of initiatives the team is currently working on
- Adhock coding as requested by senior manager
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills :
- 5-7 years experience as a Developer
- Prior experience with Front and Back end development
- 5+ years of experience with Java 8 and 11
- 5+ of recent C# and / or Python Experience
- Prior Experience working with Application Data Flows
Nice-To-Have Skills :
Prior Data Analytical Experience
Best vs. Average Candidate :
The ideal candidate would have strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Prior experience supporting a multifaceted project in a financial institution.
Degrees or certifications :
Bachelor's degree or related work experience
