We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager

This is a Full-Time Permanent position.

Position Overview :

The Manager of Sales will be an experienced and motivated new home sales manager responsible for the direction of the sales department on both the single and multi-family side of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience managing sales teams and driving successful sales outcomes. The Manager of Sales will assign and conduct market research and the creation of feasibility studies. Key elements of employment will include the assessment of operational issues regarding competitiveness, the ability to stay current in trends and innovations that impact our business interests, and the thorough review of research, feasibility studies and business plans for the improvement, development and customization of products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that appropriate sales goals are developed and achieved;
  • Lead the sales team (Area Sales Managers and Sales Associates) in achieving sales goals;
  • Recruit and manage a team of new home sales associates
  • Continuously refine processes to improve the efficiency of the sales team
  • Review researches, feasibility studies and business plans to develop strategies for the improvement, development and customization of products and services;
  • Create appropriate strategies to ensure competitive edge;
  • Conduct and assign market research and analysis;
  • Promote the mission and values of the organization both internally and externally;
  • Assess operational issues in regards to competitiveness, staying current in terms of current trends and innovations;
  • Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment for identifying new market segments;
  • Carry out feasibility studies / business plans for product or service improvement
  • Support Marketing team in creating marketing campaigns for new products and services including budgeting and expenditure planning;
  • Develop a process to gather continuous feedback from clients;
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of products, guidelines and regulations;
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and / or management
  • Knowledge of the homebuilding industry
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to create and assess feasibility studies
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
  • Able to meet deadlines under stress and interruptions and to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
  • Confident with decision making in regards to determining project guidelines, purpose, following through and completion
  • Understanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe products and e-mail required
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and / or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
