The OpenText Content Professional Services Practice is searching for a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our Canadian team as a Lead Consultant.

The Lead Consultant applies business & technical skills, as well as consulting methodologies, to collect and analyze information to design, configure and implement Open Text solutions based on unique customer requirements.

This position is focused on Enterprise accounts with an emphasis on the OpenText Content Suite product line (xECM).

This role works closely with customers and other Professional Service Consultants in the delivery of Open Text engagements, as well as with the Account Executives, Solution Consultants and Strategic Partners throughout the sales and delivery cycles.

Delivering Professional Services engagements with confidence and high quality.

Demonstrating technical and business leadership with Open Text Content Suite or Open Text Documentum software. Some areas of proficiency may include : Information & Security (CIS) Modeling, Records Management & Physical Objects, Email Management, Workflow and Reporting.

Installation and system sizing are not responsibilities of this role, but knowledge in these areas is considered nice to have.

Effectively communicating through strong written and verbal communication skills.

Understanding and translating customer business requirements into a solution that best utilizes Open Text product functionality.

Contributing to the development of a solution design and / or strategic deployment roadmap.

Working in conjunction with Open Text colleagues to implement technical configurations.

Contributing to project documentation, including, but not limited to requirements document, technical design, test plans, and knowledge transfer documentation.

Participating on multiple projects simultaneously.

Delivering presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations to a mixed audience of technical, business, and management staff.

Building and maintaining positive customer relationships and translating them into long term benefits for both companies.

Mentoring junior consultants on solutions, technology, and delivery of OpenText Content projects.

Preparing, maintaining, and submitting weekly activity / progress reports and time recording reports in accordance with published procedures.

Interacting with sales, services and partners to participate in scoping project efforts, creating estimates and responding to RFPs.

Keeping up to date with both OpenText and external technology and constantly learn

The candidate should have 8+ years of professional experience in implementing medium to complex ECM solutions.

Competency with OpenText Content Suite (xECM) and / or OpenText Documentum.

Knowledge of other Enterprise Content Management is considered nice to have.

Highly professional team player with the ability to work independently on complex projects and finding solution to our client's problems, while being part of a dynamic team.

Ability to converse, read, and write in French is desirable.

Holding a current Canadian Government clearance status or being eligible to obtain one is desirable.

Knowledge and understanding of on-premises and cloud enterprise software deployments.

A solid grasp of a variety of technologies that include development languages, tools, web-based technology that could be involved in an OpenText solution.

Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Adhere to Open Text's internal standards and best practices for consistent, high quality project delivery.

Travel is a requirement of this position.

This is a revenue generating position.

For Canadian residents, the minimum compensation estimated for this position is $97,000in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.

Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.

  • Réaliser des mandats de services professionnels avec confiance et grande qualité.
  • Démontrer un leadership technique avec les logiciels OpenText Content Suite ou OpenText Documentum.   • Contribuer à la documentation du projet, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le document des besoins, la conception technique, les plans de test et la documentation du transfert de connaissances.
  • Participer à plusieurs projets simultanément.
  • Présenter des exposés, des ateliers et des démonstrations en direct à un public mixte composé de personnel technique, fonctionnel et de direction.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations positives avec les clients et les traduire en relation à long terme pour les deux entreprises.
  • Encadrer les consultants juniors sur les solutions, la technologie et la livraison des projets d'OpenText.
  • Préparer, maintenir et soumettre des rapports d'activité / progrès hebdomadaires et des rapports d'enregistrement du temps conformément aux procédures publiées.
  • Interagir avec les ventes, les services et les partenaires pour participer à l'évaluation des projets, créer des estimations et répondre aux demandes d'offre de services.
  • Rester à jour dans ses connaissances techniques des produits d'OpenText et externes.
