We're looking for skilled Drafters like you!
What You’ll Do :
- Utilize Microsoft AX for creating items, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and production routes.
- Review BOMs and production routes before Engineering Quality Control (QC).
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Verify material and component allocations in AX and Item 360.
- Draft general arrangement drawings and detailed layouts as required.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Production teams to meet project specifications.
- Manage multiple projects independently, demonstrating strong self-management skills.
- Meet project timelines and deliver results under time constraints.
- Work directly with various departments to gain exposure to diverse manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to a team-centered approach for meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
What You’ll Bring :
- University or college degree in a Mechanical-related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of design / drafting experience, ideally in bulk material handling, industrial, or custom steel fabrication.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (e.g., production planning).
- Solid understanding of raw materials (e.g., sheet, plate, pipe / tube, round bar).
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Punctual, responsible, and dependable.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in Microsoft AX preferred.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Inventor (mandatory); Solid Edge proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to adhere to established standards and protocols.
Your Schedule :
Monday - Thursday, 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM and Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
