We are looking for Team Leader, Field Sales & Marketing to join our team in this exciting new area of business. Reporting into the Regional Manager, Field Sales, your primary responsibility is to lead a team of Field Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
You will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and support for your team members, as well as monitoring their performance and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies.
You will also collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align your teams' sales efforts with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales, an understanding of the telecommunications industry, and be motivated by implementing, measuring and coaching to sales KPIs.
Key responsibilities include :
- Lead a team of Field Sales Representatives focused on door-to-door sales, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success
- Identify and hire talent in partnership with the recruitment team to build and maintain a team of productive Field Sales Representatives to achieve coverage and conversion goals in the assigned territory
- Set sales targets and goals for the team, monitoring performance as required
- Engage in sales activity in the field with team members, supporting in sales efforts and providing real time coaching and development
- Coordinate and allocate sales territories to team members
- Collaborate with Regional Manager to develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets
- Monitor sales metrics; continuously analyze data to identify areas for improvement
- Forecast sales projections for your territory
- Ensure effective CRM practices are implemented and adhered to
- Facilitate regular team meetings to share updates and best practices. Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, motivation, and a customer-centric approach.
- Provide product knowledge and sales technique training to team members
- Share knowledge and resources to help team members enhance their skills
The ideal candidate will possess :
- 3-5 years field sales experience, ideally in a team lead capacity
- Knowledge of broadband services, telecommunications infrastructure, and related technologies
- Previous experience in a leadership or team management role, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards success
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize team performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage customers effectively in face-to-face interactions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets through door-to-door efforts. A track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas is highly desirable
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment
- Frequent travel within designated territory; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required. Mileage will be reimbursed per company policy
