CIS Clinical Business Analyst Patient Access

Job Summary :

The Clinical Business Analyst role requires a professional with a strong background in healthcare business administration or information technology focusing on Patient Access (Registration and Scheduling). The analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering workshop facilitation use case analysis business process analysis and detailed design activities within health information systems implementation projects.

Location : Canada Remote

Responsibilities :

• Gathering and documenting Patient Access related requirements.
• Facilitating workshops with healthcare providers.
• Analyzing use cases and business processes.
• Developing detailed designs and business analysis documentation.
• Collaborating with project teams subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Multi-tasking and supporting multiple project streams.

Required Skills & Certifications :

University Degree in Healthcare Business Administration or Information Technology (or equivalent experience).

5 years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst in Patient Access.

5 years of experience working with Health Information Systems (EHR / CIS) and healthcare operations related to Patient Access.

3 years of experience in health information systems / CIS implementation projects.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

6 years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst in Patient Access including experience with computerized provider order entry (CPOE) order sets clinical documentation and ancillary services.

Verbal and written communication facilitation and presentation skills in French and English.

3 years of experience leading workshops with healthcare providers.

5 years of experience working with a high level of self-direction and strong interpersonal skills.

5 years of experience in multi-tasking and supporting multiple teams.

5 years of knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.

2 years of experience using Atlassians JIRA software.

Previous experience working within public health authorities.
