Role Summary

As we develop a fully integrated experience in our R1 and future vehicle lines, we need Software Engineers to help raise the bar for mission critical in‑vehicle applications. Responsibilities

• Develop best‑in‑class in applications for in vehicle user experience, with a focus on mission critical user interfaces
• Create progressive, intuitive, and reliable applications for the Rivian in‑vehicle experience
• Collaborate with the UX / UI Team and Studio Team to realize beautiful, cutting‑edge UI and seamless integration with 2D and 3D content
• Test the in‑vehicle experience in the lab and in Rivian prototype vehicles
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing
• Help drive research into new technologies and interfaces
• Collaborate with other divisions in understanding and sharing technology roadmaps, portfolios, and intellectual property

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range / Hourly Rate for British Columbia Based Applicants : 174,200 CAD - 230,880 CAD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical / Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full‑time and part‑time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part‑Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Total Rewards

Total compensation packages for this position include base salary, eligibility for an annual performance bonus, and eligibility for equity.
