Background :

• 3-5 years of experience in all areas of family law including divorce, custody, spousal support, and child support
• Drafting motions, depositions, expert testimony, trial prep
• Well-rounded litigation experience
• Licensed to practice in Saskatchewan
• Small portable book of business is a plus

What You'll Be Doing :

• Represent clients in family law proceedings, including negotiations, mediations, and courtroom appearances.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide accurate and insightful legal advice to clients.
• Draft and negotiate marital settlement agreements, property division agreements, and child custody agreements.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as divorce petitions, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist clients in gathering all necessary evidence to support their case.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals, such as mediators and experts, to develop comprehensive legal strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in family law regulations and case law to ensure accurate and compliant representation.
