The Role

We're seeking a talented and driven Product Manager with 4+ years of product management experience in advertising technology to join our team and lead the development of our contextual data product, Reticle .

Reporting to VP of Product, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of digital advertising in a privacy-first world.

The role will either be remote or hybrid for team members residing in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Lead the product and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams, driving product strategy.
  • Advanced Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and identify strategic partnerships from a return on investment (ROI) and build-vs-buy perspective.
  • Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception to release, ensuring the timely delivery of product advancements that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure successful product development and launch, balancing resources and priorities across the organization.
  • Product Evangelism : Act as a product evangelist, promoting the product's story internally and externally, and representing the company in customer interactions to gather feedback and drive adoption.
  • Innovation and Differentiation : Identify gaps in the market and develop innovative solutions to differentiate the product offerings, leveraging advanced technical and market knowledge.
  • Team Syncs : Regular syncs with data science and engineering team members to ensure alignment, focus, and team cohesion.
  • KPI and Metrics Management : Define and track success metrics for products, using data-driven insights to optimize product performance and inform strategic decisions.

Required Skills :

  • Proven Track Record : Demonstrated success in managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle, with a strong background in product management and strategy development.
  • Technical Expertise : Solid technical background with experience in software development, web technologies, and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Leadership and Influence : Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • Education : A master's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering may be preferred, along with extensive experience in the industry.
  • Communication and Presentation : Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
